You've heard about the class size increases, but what do they actually mean for your school? Watch this video!
In March, the Ford government announced changes to class sizes to be put into place for the 2019-2020 school year. The average class size requirement for grades 4-8 will increase one student to 24.5, while secondary (grades 9 to 12) will be bumped up to 28 from the current average of 22.
Does this mean that each high school class will have 28 students? Well...no. This video offers an excellent explainer for how class sizes are calculated, and why this new policy is leading to course listing chaos.
